This policy explains how Sonarset ("we", "us"), an Australian business (ABN 23 366 156 945) based in Bundaberg, Queensland, handles personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
To provide and improve the Service: showing your organisation its own data, sending the emails the product exists to send (verification codes, password resets, alerts, invitations, quote requests you initiate), processing subscriptions, and responding to enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your operational data for advertising.
Only service providers needed to run Sonarset: Cloudflare (hosting), Airtable (data storage), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Some providers process data outside Australia (typically in the United States); we choose reputable providers with strong security practices. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We use minimal browser storage to keep you logged in and remember preferences (like your map style). We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is limited. We keep your data while your account is active and for at least 90 days after a subscription ends so you can export or reactivate; after that it may be deleted. You can export your data at any time from the app.
You can access and correct your account information in the app, and ask us to correct or delete personal information by contacting us. If someone scanned a tag and wants their check-in details removed, the account holder can delete the record, or contact us. If you have a privacy concern we can't resolve, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
